Life at Harmonie

by Cornelia Kocher

Montreal is a multicultural city. There are many things to see and try out. For example: visit museums, theatres, concerts, festivals, parades; and also the diverse neighbourhoods of the city.

There are equally numerous restaurants of Asian, South American, European, African and Canadian origins. I even had the opportunity to eat Swiss cheese fondue!

To escape for a time the atmosphere and noise of the city, it is pleasant to walk in any one of the numerous parks. In winter also it is possible to practice cross-country skiing, ice skating, or other sports.

Before Harmonie I only ever lived in small villages in my country, never in a large city like this one. I was afraid I wouldn't like it, but I have to admit to you that I love living here, I love Montreal which has given me the opportunities to discover new horizons.
